When I first met Tyson Murray, he certainly made an impression!
Tyson Murray – The Fraud: Non-payment of $1,600.00 USD in rent for Tulum villa October-November 2020
STILL UNPAID AS OF JULY 23, 2022, IF HE HAS TOLD YOU OTHERWISE, HE IS LYING.
The Set Up: After staying in the villa for a month through AirBnB, Tyson asked for another month with a private agreement-I agreed. Rent was due on October 16, for the term of October 16 to November 16, 2020. I asked for the rent at that time and Tyson informed me that he was “having some issues with accessing cash” due to some banking issues back in the UK. His debit and credit cards had also been frozen. This is not unusual, so I was patient. He said he would have the issues “sorted out in a few days” or “I will have my partner send me some funds to pay you…do not worry, so sorry for this”.
I waited another week and still nothing. Tyson did mention there was a problem with getting some cash through Western Union because the amount sent exceeded the limits-his partner could not get him the cash he needed through there. At that point I insisted that he figure it out immediately, a couple days later he offered to have his partner send me the funds through PayPal, I was relieved. I got the payment!
The Follow-up: Tyson and his friends left on November 16, 2020 as agreed. They left the place a complete mess, but the house was undamaged for the most part. I was also relieved they had moved on! About a week after they moved out, I received a notice from PayPal claiming that I owed them $1600 USD!! The “3rd person” partner that paid me was from an “unverified account” and they had made a charge back for those funds. I reached out to Tyson and he was baffled and pledged to get to the bottom of it.
I reached out from my end to his “partner” and was shocked to learn that she had never met Tyson Murray in person but had been sending him funds as an investor in his retreat for months. She claimed she never agreed to pay his rent in Tulum and was no longer investing with him, she had already sent him a lot of money. She also apologized to me as she indicated that Tyson got terribly upset when she asked him for some basic reporting on her investment money. She offered condolences that the situation left me to deal with him directly. She had already lost enough money investing in Tyson.
Meanwhile: Tyson Murray assured me he was “a man of his word” and would pay me the rent owed as soon as he is able to resolve the cash issues with his identity in the UK. At that time, the cash problem had been going on a 6-weeks or more. Fast forward to February 2021 and we have the same story, “a man of his word” that will pay me when he gets his funds situation sorted. That is all. MEANWHILE, somehow his cash situation affords him the ability to live in a luxury condo and party every night in the Tulum hotel zone on the beach. I have asked for collateral, he will not give it, I have asked him to sign a promissory note, he says, “yes happily” and then does not sign it or provide a date. I created this website as collateral and a warning to others that may come in contact with Tyson Murray. Proceed with caution.

Although a bit hurried, Tyson presented himself as a hip dresser, charming, soft spoken, educated and appreciative young man. He is a tall gentleman with an English accent and an heir of affluence, Tyson leaves an impression wherever he goes. Blending into the local Tulum party scene, he was clearly moving with that crowd already-networking and looking for new investors, as he mentioned to me. Tyson’s Rolex, the latest iPhone and power book, the stylish hats, Air Jordan’s and flowing Tuluminati robes were his costumes and he played/is playing his role well.
He also had a pre-paid month-long reservation through AirBnB! My first impressions were of a young exuberant man, diving into the Tulum scene with resources and a plan, excited for his Tulum venture!
He arrived to our community with a high standard of service and expectations. He presents himself as a wealthy person and entrepreneur, and he had manners too! His soft spoken nature is quite charming and he is charismatic and a wonderful actor. I’m thinking Dirty Rotten Scoundrels now!
Based on the recent videos and photos he has posted from November 2020 to January 2021 in Tulum, he is living quite well, despite his lack of access to cash! It’s like magic.

This is a thick prick and a very sweet talker who seduces women to get money out of them. Don’t recommend! I started dating him and after we met once he asked me after two weeks of long distance relationship if I could help him and send money over. the moment i said sorry i cant he went all crazy and started to insult me via WhatsApp telling me he would then date his former girlfriends. by the way he also wanted to marry me in the future. haha. what a horrible joke he is.
